This particular painting took me over 2 years to complete. I started it in late 1999, got it about 85% complete and then stopped. It wasn't until 2002 that I finally picked it up again and made the finishing touches.

There was two reasons for the delay... first off I moved shortly after starting this piece. And secondly because of those darn cats in the background. My initial paint layer of the cats was perfect... and then I decided to "improve" them and messed it all up! Took me almost two years to get un-annoyed with myself enough to finish it. But I am happy with it now. Nice kitties....
